Florida Man Throws Live Alligator In Fast-Food Restaurant
Florida is once again in the news, this time a man threw a live alligator in a fast-food restaurant and is being charged with aggravated assault.
23-year-old Joshua James apparently went to Wendy’s restaurant and tossed the live animal through the drive-thru window.
One of his friends worked at the restaurant and he wanted to play a practical joke, according to the suspect’s mother.
The situation was controlled and the animal was taken back and released in the wild.
According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the suspect, Mr James from Jupiter Florida, had found the animal on the side of the road and managed to put it in the back of his truck.
According to the report, he then proceeded to to the drive-thru window of the restaurant located in Royal Palm Beach, ordered a drink and then threw the 1 meter long alligator inside the restaurant.
The incident happened 3 months before the suspect was arrested. He’s also going to face charges of transportation and unlawful possession of an alligator. “It was just a stupid prank”, said Linda James, the mother of the suspect.
WPTV tweeted the picture of the alligator and the suspect.
